Ambrosia in GTA 6: what Rockstar has confirmed

Ambrosia is the industrial inland area of Grand Theft Auto VI, one of six places Rockstar Games has named in the state of Leonida, and its official description hangs on one factory and one motorcycle gang.

What Rockstar says it is

Ambrosia appears in the Places part of Only in Leonida on Rockstar's official Grand Theft Auto VI site. Rockstar heads the entry Keeping Leonida Sweet and opens it on conflict: "The battle for the health and wealth of Leonida begins here."

The description places Ambrosia in the heart of the state, where Rockstar says American industry and old school values still hold, whatever that costs. Two institutions carry the entry. The Allied Crystal sugar refinery provides the jobs. The local biker gang, in Rockstar's phrasing, provides almost everything else.

Where it sits in the state of Leonida

Inland, in the middle of Leonida, on Rockstar's own wording. That puts it away from the coastal areas Rockstar has named, Port Gellhorn and the Leonida Keys, and away from Vice City. No published biography puts a named character there.

What the official material shows

Rockstar's own captions for its Ambrosia stills describe a night skyline with chimney stacks in the distance, a motorcycle gang riding together in matching leather waistcoats, a field of crops burning at sunset, and a woman embracing a man from behind while holding a handgun across his chest.

Neither trailer description mentions Ambrosia. The named places were published separately. Rockstar also released a longer video, An Extended Look, captured entirely from PlayStation 5 gameplay footage.

What we do not know yet

Rockstar has not published a map, a scale, a town plan, or the name of the biker gang. It has not said what the battle for the health and wealth of Leonida refers to, whether the refinery is a mission location, or how Ambrosia connects to the rest of the state. Nothing official ties Jason Duval or Lucia Caminos to the area.

The other named places, including the Grassrivers, are on the locations index. See also the countdown page and GTA 6 cheats.
