About
About Vicedex
Vicedex is an independent reference for Grand Theft Auto VI. It runs on one rule: verified, not guessed. If something is not known yet, we say so and leave the gap.
Updated 23 September 2026.
Why it exists
Search for GTA 6 cheats today and you will find full tables of codes for a game nobody outside Rockstar has played. The same goes for map sizes, trophy lists and download sizes. Vicedex is the opposite: it says plainly what is known, links to where it came from, and shows the date it was checked.
How we check
- Cheat codes. A code is published only after someone has entered it on a retail copy and watched it work. Each one carries the exact sequence for each platform, the time it was verified and a public source, or the name of the contributor who gave permission to be credited.
- Trophies and the checklist. Rows come from the game itself on a retail copy. Not from screenshots, not from other sites.
- Launch facts. Dates, editions, prices and pre-load details link to Rockstar, the console stores or a named outlet, with the date we checked them.
- GTA V context. Where a page uses Grand Theft Auto V as a guide to what VI might do, it says so. It is never presented as a fact about VI.
- Leaks. We do not publish leaked or embargoed material, and we do not repeat claims that come from it.
Corrections
If something here is wrong, tell us through the correction form, with a source if you have one. A person reads every submission. When a page is corrected, its checked date changes with it.
Who runs it
Vicedex is a small independent project based in the United Kingdom. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive.
How it is paid for
There are no adverts on this site today, and nobody pays to appear on a page. The Vicedex companion app for iPhone is free, with one optional Supporter purchase that unlocks alternate app icons.
