VICEDEX

Effective 28 September 2026

Privacy policy

This policy covers the Vicedex website and the Cheats for GTA 6 iPhone companion. Vicedex is run by Max Butterworth, an independent developer in the United Kingdom, who is responsible for the personal information described here.

Your app data

Your platform preference, favourites, personal checklist and completed items are stored on your device. We do not receive their contents. There is no Vicedex account or cross-device sync. Device backups may include this information according to your Apple backup settings. Removing the app removes its local data, subject to backups you control.

Content requests

The app downloads published content from this website. Cloudflare hosts the website and content feed and processes network information such as your IP address to deliver requests and protect its services. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and does not identify you. We do not use advertising cookies or advertising identifiers.

Notifications

Notifications are optional and off until you turn them on. If you do, the app registers with OneSignal (OneSignal, Inc.), the service that delivers our pushes. OneSignal receives a push token and device details such as model, system version, language, time zone and IP address, and creates a random subscription identifier. We attach four labels to that subscription so you only get what applies to you: your platform (PS5 or Xbox), whether spoiler safe mode is on, whether you want news alerts, and whether you are a Supporter. We do not send your name, email address, checklist or favourites to OneSignal, and we do not use it for advertising or tracking across other apps. We send one alert on launch day, one when the first verified code is published, and occasional sourced news if the news switch is on. Turn notifications off in the app or in iOS Settings at any time; removing the app ends the subscription. OneSignal keeps the subscription record while notifications are on. Once you turn them off or remove the app, the record is marked unsubscribed. It holds no name, email address or account, and we delete unsubscribed records at least once every 12 months.

Purchases

The app is free. One optional one-time purchase, Supporter, is processed by Apple. We never see your card details. RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc.) confirms the purchase for us and receives a random app user identifier, the purchase receipt and basic device information. We use this only to unlock what you bought and to restore it on request. RevenueCat keeps that record while the app is available, because it is how a purchase is restored on a new device. To have it deleted sooner, send us the Order ID from Apple's receipt email through the support form and we will delete the RevenueCat record. Apple keeps its own record of the purchase under Apple's privacy policy, so you can still restore Supporter later.

Launch email

If you give us your email address for the launch email, we store the address, the time of signup and a daily hash of your IP address that limits automated signups. We use it to send one email on launch day. We send nothing else and we do not pass the address to anyone else.

When our email service Kit (Kit.com) is connected, your address is also stored there so the email can be sent and unsubscribes handled. Otherwise it is stored only in Cloudflare D1. We keep it until you unsubscribe or until 31 December 2026, whichever comes first. To unsubscribe, use the link in the email or the support form.

Android waitlist

If you give us your email address to hear about an Android version, we store the address, the time of signup and a daily hash of your IP address that limits automated signups. We use it only to send one email if Vicedex comes to Google Play, and we do not pass it to anyone else. It is stored only in Cloudflare D1. We delete it once that email is sent, or on 31 December 2027 if there is no Android version by then, whichever comes first. To be removed sooner, use the support form.

Messages you send us

Support and correction forms collect your message, an optional email address, and any source link you supply. We use this information to handle requests, assess corrections and reply where appropriate. Do not include passwords, payment information or sensitive personal information.

Messages are stored in Cloudflare D1, initially provisioned in Western Europe. Cloudflare may process network traffic globally. We retain submissions for up to 180 days, then automatically delete them. We use a daily hash derived from your IP address to limit spam; this identifier is automatically deleted within 48 hours. Raw IP addresses are not stored in our submission database.

Your choices and rights

Providing an email address is optional. To request access, correction or deletion of a submission, use our support form and include your message reference. For your purchase record, include the Order ID from Apple's receipt email. We may need to verify the request. We use personal information to respond to requests and operate and protect the service, based on our legitimate interests. Where applicable, you can object to processing, request restriction or portability, and complain to your data protection authority, including the UK Information Commissioner's Office.

Other websites

Links to Rockstar Games and other sources open services with their own privacy policies. We do not control those services.
