Lucia Caminos in GTA 6: what Rockstar has confirmed

Lucia Caminos is one of the two characters Rockstar Games puts at the centre of Grand Theft Auto VI, alongside Jason Duval, and her official biography runs to a few sentences.

Who Rockstar says she is

Lucia appears in the People part of Only in Leonida on Rockstar's official Grand Theft Auto VI site. Her headline is that "Lucia's father taught her to fight as soon as she could walk".

Rockstar says life has come at her swinging ever since, that fighting for her family put her in the Leonida Penitentiary, and that luck rather than process got her out. She intends to make only smart moves now.

A second passage covers what she wants: the good life her mother has dreamed of since their days in Liberty City, taken rather than waited for. Rockstar also calls her committed to her plan whatever it costs.

Where she sits in the state of Leonida

Rockstar does not fix her to one place. Her biography names only the Leonida Penitentiary and Liberty City, the setting of Grand Theft Auto IV, where she and her mother used to live. No official text ties her to Vice City or the Leonida Keys.

What the official material shows

Rockstar's own captions for its published stills describe Lucia punching a heavy bag in a gym, walking through a jail handcuffed in an orange jumpsuit, and holding a handgun behind a door while a man aims one through the gap. Its edition pages list outfits, salon styles, tattoos and a personalised pistol for her, the closest the official material comes to calling her a player character.

Neither trailer description names her. Trailer 2, in May 2025, opened on Vice City and set out the story she shares with Jason: an easy score goes wrong and a conspiracy runs across Leonida.

What we do not know yet

Rockstar has not published her age, her family names, her voice actor, or how much of the game is played as her. How she left the penitentiary, what her plan is, and what the conspiracy involves are all unstated.
