GTA 6 weapons cheat: all guns and ammo

Nothing is confirmed. Rockstar has not announced a weapons cheat for Grand Theft Auto VI. The weapons it has named so far are Ultimate Edition items, which come with a purchase, not a code.

What is confirmed for GTA VI

Rockstar has not announced a cheat system for VI, so it has announced no cheat that gives guns or ammo. Its game page, its pre-order post of 24 June 2026 and its platforms support article do not mention cheats.

Weapons do appear in one place, as a purchase. Rockstar's edition comparison on the game page describes the Ultimate Edition as "an exclusive collection of premium vehicles, weapons, apparel, and action around every corner". It lists Hawk & Little Morgan revolvers and personalised weapon variants as Ultimate Edition items (Rockstar Games). Push Square's list of the contents, published on 24 June 2026, names the revolvers and personalised variants of Jason's Girardi ES9 pistol and Lucia's Klose K17 pistol (Push Square).

The Ultimate Edition is 99.99 US dollars or 89.99 pounds on the US and UK PlayStation Store listings. Push Square also lists weapon patterns inspired by Tommy Vercetti in the Vintage Vice City Pack, a pre-order bonus. See GTA 6 editions and price and the Ultimate Edition page.

Verified. Not guessed. Which guns the rest of the game has, how much ammo they carry, and whether any code hands them out is not announced. We publish a code only after it has been entered on a retail copy, which cannot happen before 19 November 2026. The verified list is at GTA 6 cheats.

What GTA V did

This section is about Grand Theft Auto V, not VI. None of it is confirmed for VI.

The cheats that touched weapons

Weapon cheats in GTA V, not VI. Guides name them differently. Checked 3 October 2026.
Cheat	What it did	Source
Weapons (NME: "Weapons / Guns")	Gave a knife, an SMG with 300 bullets, an assault rifle with 300, a pump shotgun with 150, a sniper rifle with 30, 5 grenades and an RPG with 5 rockets	Grand Theft Auto Wiki
Explosive ammo (GTABase: "Bang Bang")	Made all weapons shoot explosive bullets	GTABase
Flaming bullets	Made enemies and objects catch fire when shot	GTABase
Explosive melee	Made melee attacks such as punches and kicks explosive	GTABase

The guides do not agree on the weapons list. The wiki and GTABase both name a pump shotgun, and GTABase says the cheat gives one weapon of each type. PCGamesN names a sawed-off shotgun and a pistol instead (PCGamesN). Treat the exact list as uncertain. NME gives the cheat names but does not list the weapons (NME).

Infinite and max ammo

None of the cheat lists we read has an infinite ammo cheat. The wiki lists fixed ammo counts, and GTABase says entering the weapons cheat again gave more ammo. That is the nearest GTA V came to a max ammo cheat. None of the sources states how long the explosive and flaming effects lasted.

Where they did not work

GTABoom's FAQ lists explosive bullets and flaming bullets among the cheats the game refused on a mission (GTABoom). GTABase says the cheats did not work at all in GTA Online. The wiki says activating a cheat disabled achievements, trophies and accomplishments for the session. More on that at do GTA 6 cheats disable trophies.
