GTA 6 PS5 bundle and controller

Sony announced two limited-edition Grand Theft Auto VI DualSense controllers on 3 September 2026, at 84.99 US dollars, launching on 19 November. We found no PS5 console bundle announced by Sony or Rockstar, and no Xbox controller or bundle announced by Microsoft.

Checked 3 October 2026. We update this page when Rockstar publishes more.

The GTA 6 DualSense controllers

The PlayStation Blog announced two controllers in First look at the Grand Theft Auto VI Limited-Edition DualSense Wireless Controllers, dated 3 September 2026. The post is bylined to Isabelle Tomatis, Sony Interactive Entertainment's vice president of global marketing, and to R*Q. Sony's State of Play roundup of the same day lists them too.

The post describes a "shimmering, color-shifting finish" in the hues of a Vice City sunset, with palm tree details moulded into the controller. The White Limited Edition is Vice City at daybreak. The Black Limited Edition is its nightlife.

The post prices the controllers alone. It does not say that the game, or a console, comes with them.

Can you still buy one?

On 3 October 2026 the PlayStation Direct US pages for the White and Black editions both read "Currently Unavailable". The White page adds "Due to high demand, there is a limit of 1 per order." Stock can change, so check the page itself. In other regions the post says the controllers go on sale through participating or select retailers, which we did not check.

Is there a PS5 bundle?

None is announced. We looked for a console bundle, or a console with Grand Theft Auto VI branding, in four places.

• The controller post above, which mentions no console.
• The State of Play roundup, which lists the controllers and the 19 November launch and no console.
• PlayStation Direct's new releases page, which shows the two controllers and no game or console bundle.
• The US PlayStation game page, which lists the Standard and Ultimate editions and no bundle.

The same PlayStation page lists the game for PlayStation 5 and PS5 Pro, and describes the DualSense features it supports: haptic feedback, adaptive triggers and the integrated speaker. That is a feature list, not a hardware offer. See GTA 6 on PS5 Pro. A shop that pairs a console with the game by itself is not a Sony or Rockstar bundle, so we do not cover those.

What about Xbox?

Xbox Wire's Grand Theft Auto archive lists two Grand Theft Auto VI posts, the Trailer 2 post and the pre-order post, and no hardware post. The Xbox page for the game lists Xbox Series X|S and shows only general Xbox accessories, none tied to the game. Microsoft has announced no Grand Theft Auto VI controller, console or bundle in what we read.

What is not known

The post says "limited quantities" and gives no number. Sony has announced no console bundle, and nothing here predicts one. Pre-order prices and bonuses are on GTA 6 pre-order, and the editions are on GTA 6 editions and price. The launch date is on the release date page.
