No verified GTA 6 cheat codes for PlayStation 5 exist yet. Vicedex publishes a code only after entering it on a retail PS5 copy, with a source and a verification time.

- 00 verified codes
Why the count is 00
The game is not out, so nobody has entered a code on a retail PS5. Rockstar has Grand Theft Auto VI set for Thursday 19 November 2026 (Rockstar Newswire), and the official Grand Theft Auto VI site says nothing about cheats. The full explanation, including why every code list online today is invented, is on GTA 6 cheats.
Verified codes for PS5
No verified codes yet.
We verify on a retail PS5, record who entered the code and when, and link a source where there is one. Corrections go to /submit/.
How you will enter codes on this platform
This is an expectation, not a fact. Rockstar has confirmed nothing about cheats in VI. It is what GTA V did on PlayStation, which is the only evidence there is (IGN).
- A button sequence on the controller, pressed during normal gameplay with the game unpaused. In IGN's GTA V list these run from seven presses to sixteen, using Triangle, Circle, Cross, Square, L1, L2, R1, R2 and the directional pad. The DualSense on PS5 uses the same button names.
- A phone number dialled in the character's in game mobile phone. Every GTA V number began 1-999, and each cheat used the same number on PlayStation and Xbox.
Reading a code written for the other console
Guides and videos often print a code for one console only. This table shows how GTA V wrote its console codes in PlayStation and Xbox notation, taken from IGN's GTA V cheat list. It is GTA V only. Nothing about GTA VI codes is confirmed.
| PlayStation | Xbox |
|---|---|
| Triangle | Y |
| Circle | B |
| Cross | A |
| Square | X |
| L1 | LB |
| L2 | LT |
| R1 | RB |
| R2 | RT |
| Up, directional pad | Up, directional pad |
| Down, directional pad | Down, directional pad |
| Left, directional pad | Left, directional pad |
| Right, directional pad | Right, directional pad |
To turn an Xbox code into a PS5 one, swap each button for its partner and keep the order. GTA V's Give Parachute on Xbox was Left, Right, LB, LT, RB, RT, RT, Left, Left, Right, LB. Swapped, that gives Left, Right, L1, L2, R1, R2, R2, Left, Left, Right, L1, which is the PlayStation code IGN lists. When we checked on 23 September 2026, all 31 button codes in IGN's GTA V list followed this table.
Watch the letter X. IGN's PlayStation list writes Cross as a plain X. So X in a PlayStation code means Cross, but X in an Xbox code means the button that matches Square. GTA V's Invincibility shows it: Right, X, Right, Left, Right, R1, Right, Left, X, Triangle on PlayStation, and Right, A, Right, Left, Right, RB, Right, Left, A, Y on Xbox.
Cheats and PS5 trophies
On PS5 the awards are trophies. Sony lists four grades, from most difficult: platinum, gold, silver and bronze. It also says the number and grades of trophies vary from game to game (PlayStation Support).
In GTA V, entering a cheat disabled trophies and achievements for the rest of that game session (Grand Theft Auto Wiki). Cheats also worked in Story Mode only, never in GTA Online (IGN). A code and a trophy attempt did not belong in the same sitting.
Rockstar has not said whether VI does the same. Until we have checked on a retail PS5, assume a code costs you trophies for that session. We will mark every code we verify as trophy safe or not.
The GTA 6 trophy list, when it is readable on a retail copy, goes on GTA 6 trophies and achievements.
The rest of the cheats pages
What verified means, and how codes worked in GTA V, are on GTA 6 cheats. The Xbox list is on GTA 6 cheats for Xbox Series X|S.
